    • Thanks Deborah, I have already had some very positive comments and sold my first book soon after publishing it. I am very happy I finally got it out and pray it will bless many like my previous books. However, this is my Christian version of the other two books, the book I have been always wanting to write.

  1. Wow, and many congratulations @aussiebirder..

This is the first time I came across books on birds and I found them really very interesting. It makes me happy to see you are a true nature lover, because nature always gives us peace and supports mental wellness. Loved this share! 🌿

    • Thanks Deepika for your kind comment. All of my books are about birds and how they can help us live a better life. Birds are so much like us and so much more intelligent than was first thought 200 years ago. Recent neurological research has shown that some species are actually more intelligent than apes and young children.

      • Yes, you’re right—bird sounds and nature truly give us mental peace. Whenever I’m in Lucknow, my hometown in Uttar Pradesh, my home is nearby Kukrail Forest. It has such a unique vibe, and in the early mornings I hear so many different bird calls. My mom is a bird lover too, and even my daughter enjoys it when birds visit our terrace lawn—it feels like they’re having little conversations with us. They’re so friendly with my mom; it’s beautiful to see and listen birds. “

      • So true Deepika the bird song is so good for our wellbeing and sooths us, lowers our blood pressure and helps us relax. Yes the morning chorus as us birders call it is the best time to be out birding for this is when the birds all awake and start calling to each other and declaring their territories and busily feed after their long sleep. The evening chorus before sunset is another time they all excitedly get a last feed in before finding their roost tree. So glad your mum is encouraging birding for you, we enjoy taking our grandchildren out birding when they visit.
