  1. Hello Ash,
I am still playing ‘catch up’ on my favourite blogs, but reading about your reconnection with friends and sharing your love of birding raised my spirits today. It is a much-needed reminder how human connection is truly precious and also a blessing. Thank you☺️

    • Thanks Takami, It is lovely that you are commenting again on my posts, I so appreciate your comments my friend ! yes we love sharing our birding knowledge and getting to know people on the track as we meet so many birders, and non birding families as well as new birders which I often stop and chat with, as people know I’m good for a chat. This is how I sell my books online. We both enjoy the many people we share with and hearing their stories and tips as we share ours. Most birders are very friendly and love to share their findings.

    • Thanks Sue, yes we always find plenty of birds in my friend’s backyard when we visit and they seem to keep track of them. Spending time with us has had its influence on them being more interested, the sometimes send phone pics of their backyard bird capers.
