As I mentioned in my last post, my wife and I have been away on a long expedition into the Kimberley region of Western Australia, birding and enjoying the sights of this desert outback region, while it is the dry season. I will be posting again next week. We have been outside of signal range most of the time so I apologise if I have not responded to blogs I follow. We hope to return home soon.

Thank you so much navasolanature, we have had a wonderful time exploring and hearing and seeing birds we have never seen before. We have just returned home and have a lot of catching up to do. We are still waiting for our luggage to be delivered as it missed connecting flights. Enjoy your week.
