  1. Trust your ticker is doing fine. I love Bee-eaters. Only see them because photographers like you take photos for us to enjoy. Have see one of them in a zoo, but would rather see them in the wild.
    Stay well, prayers.

    • Thanks Lee, I have more tests and a possible procedure but otherwise I am still out birding as usual. It has been an unusual year so form wife and I, as it has been for yourself and it seems God is slowing me down some. Yes, the Bee-eaters are always an exciting discovery. My wife gets excited when she hears their zitting sound, and then we see them. The colors of them flying are so beautiful. We were so blessed to have them residing each morning right near our resort room on our holiday. I will have more of them washing and drying themselves at another time. They are just so fast, even when I slow them to half speed movie. Thanks for your prayers.

      • We just received word today that Dan will be having knee replacement in November. That will slow him down and maybe I might finally be able to keep up with him. 🙂 With my cane or walker and him with whatever he will use, we might be able to run a race with the turtles. 🙂 The Lord is in control. Still wish the Lord had shared all the birds everywhere. You could see our hummers and we could see your bee-eaters.
Then again, we would be overwhelmed with all of them. 😦 Can hardly ID the birds of a country with around 900+.
Still praying that things improve down there.

      • Your description of Dan sounds like my Robyn’s description of me. It must be a challenge for you birding these days. I have another blogger friend who has a similar situation, and she sits on her walker and waits for the birds to come to her, and it is surprising what she sees. In my next post I will be sharing how I have started to slowed down and how God blessed it. Keep me posted to pray for Dan when his op is due. I am going in for a sleep study tonight to look for another problem, which may contributed to the heart problem. Yes, there are just too many birds. I have had to accept that I may not get to see them all, or even most of our birds as there are just so many, and some so difficult to find. Blessings!
