  1. Lovely photos Ashley, I love the royal spoonbills. I’ve found some hiding out at the Wetlands here and it’s fascinating watching them feed. Wishing you all the best with your health concerns, hope to see you back on board soon.

    • Thanks Donna, thanks so much more for your hugs and prayers, it means a lot at this time. Working through life issues is not pleasant, but necessary stuff, but the joy of birding makes it seem a little easier to navigate through for us both.

  3. I just love that little fairy wren…and I had no idea any birds bred in the winter, interesting. I have been wondering how your medical treatment went, so I am glad to hear you have left the hospital and were up to a post! The videos were both very enjoyable, for different reasons. The last is so beautiful and peaceful. My husband and I had the verse you included from Ecc. on our unity candle at our wedding, and I have always loved that song. Blessings to you and your wife in this new season of life, and prayers for continued health friend.

    • Thanks Jen, I had several days in hospital as various specialists were trying to work out what was going wrong with me as I was being treated for AF and had a severe asthma reaction to one of the drugs and several heart procedures. I did get put back into sinus rhythm but because the drug reacted and I had to cease it I clicked back to AF as there was no back up drug given at the time. I am now recovering from all that, and after a 5 day holiday will review our options as it is continuing to cause me to feel breathless and lacking energy which is just not me at all. How lovely that you remember that song and those days, it was a very unique time in history of change coming. That is a wonderful concept a unity candle burning and shining as one, I see that. Thanks again for your prayers and kind thoughts I appreciate it Jen.
