  1. Beautiful as always, and I love your thoughts on really listening to others, our friends, to hear what they are going through. What you listed as your favorite picture is really incredible – it looks as if he is flying right to you! A beautiful weekend to you and your wife. Blessings!

    • Thanks Jen, yes listening is the most important part of communication, if us guys could get that right every time we would be amazing 🙂 I love these special flight captures where they are coming right at you, and these birds lend themselves well because of there plumage and wing design. I have several amazing shots of various Tern species like this, one shot almost looks angelic. In this weeks post the Tern is my subject and the title shot is another shot you might like. May you and the family have a restful and enjoyable weekend!

  2. Where ever you go you find so many birds! Amazing! How many “lifers” do you have on your list? Take care my friend. 🙂

    • Thanks HJ, I have never stopped to count how many lifers, but I know that on one or two occasions I thought I had seen a lifer only to find it was one I had seen years ago for the first time. As I get older and take more photos my Speciated Bird Album file grows on the 2TB drive. I hope to use this in my future books when I finally retire. Australia has so many beautiful birds to discover, and I am currently reading up on the research being dome on them and birds in your part of the world also, it is fascinating how intelligent they are, and how much we can learn about life from them. Have a great weekend my friend!

    • Thanks Donna, yes it was a little disappointing with the weather, Aussie Day’s are usually hot and sunny, but not this one. The Terns do look a bit disheveled. You enjoy the weekend also my friend 🙂
