  1. What a beautiful wetland area! Several new birds…and loved the fish too. Never knew that the Clownfish was the only fish able to survive among Sea Anemones.

  2. I really enjoyed these videos, except the croc I have to admit…hard to even look at them! I’m glad you and your wife only experienced them in captivity!!! I finally ordered your book and look so forward to reading it. I always enjoy reading the scriptural lessons at the end so I know it will be a real treat for myself and family! Blessings!

    • Thanks so much Jen, your book is on its way to you, I do hope it blesses you and the family. I have sent an email to explain the book some more to you. Thank you for your encouraging comments, that you appreciate the spiritual aspect to my post, that is heart felt, as it is difficult at times to know how stepping out like this has affected some of my non-faith followers. The important thing is that it is our Father’s work through his Spirit that draws people, I do not tell people they should do anything, I just share my own and my wife’s faith walk and life experience, he does the rest. Richest Blessings and enjoy your week:-)

      • Thank you. I was actually telling my husband about it last night. It sounds like the kind of books I used to read to my kids when they were younger during our homeschool years. Yes, sometimes it is hard, I too am keenly aware that there are people of opposite opinions when I share, but like you, I try not to offend or be preachy but also don’t want to be someone other than who I am. Blessings to you and your wife as well this week! I’ll bet you are off on another wonderful birding adventure. 🙂

      • Thanks Jen, interesting enough it was several of my friends who are Christian home school people who initially embraced my book in its early days and tried to get it into their education system, or at least as a reader. Enjoy your weekend, so far ours has been quiet with no plans, but that could unexpectedly change, as it often does.

  3. So many new lifers, how absolutely awesome, Ashley! It definitely was a much successful day. I especially love the beautiful Crimson Finch, the Comb-crested Jacana, Brush Cuckoo, and last but not least the Forest Kingfisher. Heck, I love all the birds!! 🙂 Glad the crocs stayed away!

    • Thanks Donna, So glad you loved these birds, yes it is beautiful to see these bright birds red or blue standing out against the background in the sunshine. Yes it was good we did not see any crocs, it is scary enough at times walking around rivers and water . Thanks again for your welcome comments.

    • Thanks Kathy, yes he is quite a fast moving little guy, very difficult to get a clear shot, and quite chirpy as he seems to be constantly on a coffee fix.
