  1. So many lovely birds! I loved the beautiful Galah and the other colorful parrots. And the ducks dive exactly like ours at the salt marsh 🙂 Great videos too!

    • Thanks so much Tiny, it was a very enjoyable visit, and it is quite humorous the way ducks and shovelers duck under the water with backsides in the air:-) Have a wonderful weekend Tiny!

  2. Nice photos of the galahs Ashley. And lovely footage of the Shoveler. And how lucky to get some film of the kite hovering. Well done!

    • Thanks Sue, the bird hide made it easy for me to get steady video. The kite was a bonus, I usually miss seeing raptors there. I have met several birders there in the past who just come there for the several different raptor species. I have seen Nankeen Kestrel there in the past, but not much else, possibly because it is later in the day.

  3. G,day AB this is a wonderful area, a few of my Flickr folk work through the area regularly, and its nice to see it from yoiur overall perspective, often hard to gauge how a place works from just one or two shots.
    Super work
