  1. My warmest congratulations on your new book!! It will be a wonderful legacy and, as you say, a gift that will keep giving 🙂 Great pictures also on your waders! The video was special…like being right there observing these birds. I felt for the Oystercatcher, but it didn’t seem like it had been starving. Maybe it had adapted to its handicap and learned to find food anyway. The Frogmouth babies were too cute 🙂

    • Thanks Tiny, so far I am greatly encouraged by the comments that are being made by those who have purchased the book, one woman I work with has said it had a significant affect on her life. As a book for young people it is appearing to help adults more. Yes, I was amazed at the Oystercatcher, and how it looks alone but seems to be well fed, possibly not on oysters though, as i do’t know how it would open one with such a disability. We went to visit the baby Frogmouths again yesterday in the rain, the reserve smalls so wonderful when it is wet, and thankfully God held off the rain while we viewed their nest again. They are so cute:-)
